Easy Care and Machine Washable

These machine washable kids rugs are as practical as they are stylish. They fit washing machines with a 9kg capacity or larger.

Care instructions:
Wash separately at a maximum of 30°C on a gentle cycle
Do not use bleach or fabric softeners
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight
Tumble dry on low heat
Never leave the rug sitting in the washing machine after the cycle finishes

Cotton rugs may shed fibres when new or during use. This is a natural characteristic and not a defect. Shedding will reduce within 3 to 6 months with regular use and washing.

After unpacking, lay the rug flat for a few days. Gently vacuum or brush to help restore the pile. Avoid robot vacuums or vacuums with rotating or beater bars to protect the rug texture.

Product Care Guidelines

Attend to spills immediately to reduce the chance of staining. Do not rub the spill. Gently blot liquids using a clean, dry white cloth or paper towel.

For tougher spills, use a mild detergent with lukewarm water. If stains persist, seek professional cleaning advice.

Professional cleaning is recommended every 6 to 12 months. Rotate the rug regularly to ensure even wear.

Please note that slight size variations may occur within plus or minus 5 percent. For handmade and folded rugs, variations of up to 10 percent are possible.

Natural Fiber Characteristics

Some rugs are handmade using natural fibers. Small imperfections such as yarn sprouting, color variation, or natural material inclusions are normal and show the rug’s handcrafted quality. These are not faults.

Natural fiber rugs may shed. Use gentle vacuuming without brushes or rotating heads.

Rugs made from wool, sheepskin, or other animal based fibers may have a natural odor when new. Allow the rug to air out. If the smell persists, seek professional advice.
